This pattern looks quite complicated but the main stitches used throughout are only double crochet with chain stitch. Triple and single crochet are only used on the flower.
For clarity the instructions refer throughout to the pink and grey colours used in the pictures. You can of course use any colour combinations you wish. The yarn used is double knitting cotton but you could use other DK weight yarns. There are alternative cotton yarn suggestions at the end of the pattern.
